You should be able to go to your local Chevvy dealer and ask them to check their parts books for that VIN, if they still have them. You could also check any local Chevvy enthusiasts group because they usually keep that sort of information

You could check the internet for a site with the information,

Here in England there is a site for checking vehicle registations
