If I'm reading this accurately, you asked another girl (employee?) to stay and help you. Unless you are paying this other person, you do not have the authority to tell her to continue working. Ultimately the boss is responsible for making the decisions. If you believe that you had too many children to take care of by yourself, ask the boss for a few moments of her time and discuss your concerns with her. You may want to approach the issue from a safety stand-point, for instance, your concern that you can't devote the required amount of attention to each child. Most likely there are state regulations that dictate how many children can be in one persons care at a time. I would advise you against substituting your judgement for your boss' and over-riding her instructions.
