1) not sure what you mean by that. Ask questions or answer them. I look at all the question titles regardless of topic.
2) my regular habits are to check on new posts to questions I've asked and answered. When this correspondence is done, then I move on to searching new questions.

4)People I know? I assume you mean askers and answerers that I recognize from their posts. Mostly strangers but familiar posters come first in priority, except behind the truly needy.
5) sometimes. Some topics are easier than others, but most of my questions are unique.
6)you can create or add your own taxons to the pile. Whether that is a short term advantage, I can't say. Over the long haul it is useful and Yedda is designed for it. Go to explore and check it out.
