Is there a way to link up the Facebook Yedda app ...

Is there a way to link up the Facebook Yedda app to my existing Yedda profile?

I didn't see any in the settings.

Hi Shoshana,

When you add the Yedda facebook application (here) you should be signed up to Yedda (so you'll have the Yedda cookie).  If you do that, the application will identify you as a Yedda user and ask you to merge the accounts.

Odd thing- I removed the app, logged out of Facebook, removed Yedda related cookies from my browser and logged in as my old user directly to Yedda.com

Then, when I attempted to re-add the application to my facebook account, I got the following error, and it insists on still using this user and not merging with my old yedda user.

 Oops! (no one is perfect, right?)

Either you got here by mistake, or there is an error in the system. In any case, the best thing to do is probably to go back to the page you got here from, or to the home page. Safe travel!

I installed the Yedda app on Facebook and it isn't working.  When I go to the app, the page is blank. Is there a fix for this?

As a reflection of Facebook?s growing significance and popularity, I presented a session exploring the strategic uses of Facebook. Running with a full house on Friday morning (22nd Feb) at the Teaching & Learning Center (UB), the workshop explored the potential uses of Facebook for teaching and motivating collaboration between students. Issues of privacy naturally became the hot topic, as well as concerns about intellectual property. Finally I covered the advantages and pitfalls of social networks, with specifics to Facebook. Sony has slashed prices on PS3 by some 17% and increased capacity from 60GB to 80GB in an attempt to compete with the Wii. The current model will be reduced by $100, the upgrade will still be $599.
