A yeast infection looks like flat red rashes and can occur in various areas of the body:
1) Symptoms of a yeast infection in the genital area will be discharge of a white mucus to yellow pus. Itchiness and bad odor. Irritated skin around the labia and pain during urination.
2) In the mouth or throat a yeast infection looks like a white pimple on a swollen red spot. Mouth yeast infections can be painful, and eating and swallowing difficult.
3) Yeast infections can also be found between toes and fingers , under the breast , around the anus and on the penis . In these places, a yeast infection looks like dry, swollen patches of red or purple flaky skin that could burn and itch.
In babies you can also notice it in the form of a diaper rash.
You should note there are natural alternatives to prescribed medicines that work much better as they attack the route cause and not just the symptoms (reocurring yeast infections are very common).
I found an excellent website that has many photos of what a yeast infection looks like in various parts of the anatomy, and most importantly a 12 hour cure - see natural cure for yeast infections for excellent advice on how to treat yeast infections safely, quickly and permanently.
I hope that helped give you a better idea about what a yeast infection looks like.
All the best and good luck.
