Who wrote this article? Like the previous comment, I must say that this article is full of innaccuracies about electric cars. Frankly, it sounds like it was written by someone who is trying to persuade people not to go electric. Let me just say this, I have been driving electric nearly non-stop in the past year, about 2000 miles, and have only spent about $50 worth of electricity. That means I've saved about $300 in gas. Not to mention 90 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions. I've never needed an oil change, tune-up, smog check. It's a beautiful thing and addicting once you start doing it every day.
