Who wrote this article?

Who wrote this article? Like the previous comment, I must say that this article is full of innaccuracies about electric cars. Frankly, it sounds like it was written by someone who is trying to persuade people not to go electric. Let me just say this, I have been driving electric nearly non-stop in the past year, about 2000 miles, and have only spent about $50 worth of electricity. That means I've saved about $300 in gas. Not to mention 90 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions. I've never needed an oil change, tune-up, smog check. It's a beautiful thing and addicting once you start doing it every day.

I don't know anything about the person who wrote this article and frankly I don't know much about electrics cars myself, but I noticed that you drove about 2000 miles last year -- that's not a lot, is it? Maybe electric cars are excellent for your needs but for the needs of the average driver a normal car is better?

Lots of people don't realize that they can do their own electric car conversion using electric car conversion kits. It used to cost $5,000 to $10,000 to convert a gas car into an electric one. That’s not the case anymore. In fact, new electric car technology has made it possible to do a conversion for under a thousand dollars. Some electric car kits even show you how to find tools and parts, such as batteries, very inexpensively, sometimes even for free. This is one reason why EV conversion kits are all the rage these days.
