Difficult to answer...
I think I would prefer to know that someone has actually taken the time and effort to answer my question, even if there is a chance that that answer was not a 100% accurate. However, it's probably really a matter of personal preference.

well,that would depend on the question..if it's a serious one,then i don't want wrong answers...but if it's just to have human contact,then i don't care if they are wrong!
Thanks to everybody for answering. I thought it was an interesting question and appreciated your comments. I marked this question answered though there is no real and final answer. It depends on circumstance and each individual question whether a wrong answer is better than no answer.
