Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

Use a system names "mind mapping": Draw a circle (at the center) and write inside: "What do I want to say".  Now draw balloons with each answer (and from any answer a second idea about it).  Now you have an idea of what you want to write.  Now repeat the same procedure and ask: "How am I going to write it, in what words ?".....  Then think of a nice oppening, and a nice ending to that letter.  Well done !.  That's a very easy and usefull tool (mind mapping).
Best regards,

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

There are no strict rules.... openning, main, end.  What is more important is it's content and that it really reflect what you want to say.  A letter is something personal and therefor should reflect your personality as well (excluding official letters to the authorities......).
Best regards,

I assume you are asking about a formal letter.

First line (if you have a letterhead) Date

If no letterhead, your address (street) followed by city, state, zip

Second line your reference number

Now comes the salutation:

Name of person, company, address, city, state, zip

Body of letter: If answering the recipient's letter with thanks. Continue with your letter answering each point or write your message clearly and tersely.

End with: Sincerely yours

leave four spaces for your signature and then type in your name (and title).

Hope this helps.
