Lose this guy , he is nothing but trouble and will break your heart again and again.  If this man loved you he would not have vanished off the face of the earth over the 4th .    Another problem I see is you said  " He got over her " , NO she DUMPED  his sorry behind , so he came running back to you .  I would say if the truth is known he hooked up with someone else , do not believe his phone story , that should actually insult your intelligence .  Find yourself a good honest man who will love , honor and cherish you , and above all treat you like a lady with the respect you deserve .   My Father told me one time , we as Women teach Men how to treat us .
