One of the brightest, wisest and  very best man in the history of the United States is our president and we are deeply blessed to have President Obama.  Thank you God.

Let's list the best leaders in the world who have served as a role model for civilizations and I nominate President Obama at the top of the list of greats.

THAT WHICH DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.

Bull. Reality is, it will usually hurt like hell and leave you with a permanent limp.

Well, I supported him; I voted for him; I went to his inauguration; I still support him - but, I think it's a little early to lay those accolades on him yet.  I think he has the potential to be one of the best, but let's give him a little time before we make him a saint.

I agree with Tyrebitre. He is just a man,  but I believe he is the right man for the job.  That old saying--"absolute power corrupts absolutely"--should give us pause.  As long as President Obama shares his power with all of us Americans who will take the time and effort to keep track of what is going on and to share opinions and expertise, we should not have to worry about his getting corrupted by too much power.  (Besides,  I believe Michelle can bring him down to earth rather swiftly.) He seems to me to be a man with an inner compass that keeps him centered on walking in his faith.  I pray that I am reading him right.

the difference between being a hero or a coward is holding onto fear for one second longer

I think you should stop drinking the kool aid. The man has never submitted his college history, academic or social for vetting, as all other presidents who went on to college. By the way the only president in the 20th century not to go to college was Harry S Truman. Truman was thrown into office when FDR died at the begining of his third term. The country had not yet come out of the depression of 1929 and we fere fighting two wars, one in Europe and one in Japan. He Truman was pretty much left in the dark by FDR regarding the status of the war and economy. The war in Europe was pretty much over but there had been deals made by FDR with Churchill and Stalin he new nothing about , the atomic bomb had been invented and was a secret from him, he had to make the decision on using it. The economy was still in shambles but turning and he had to guide it. Harry Truman today has gone down as one of the best presidents of the 20th century. President Obama will never make it. From what I know of his history and from just watching his job performance he is no Harry Truman. Mr Obama could not run my grandchildrens lemonade stand. the man knows nothing of business, (never worked in one or met a payroll in his life and does not have the foggyist idea) (he knows nothing of the American people or their problems) (take the man out of an URBAN ENVIORNMEN or ACADEMIC ENVIORMENT and he is lost, he has no knowledge of the common man in this country and from what I can see has no intrest in learning). When it comes to forgine policy he is a babe in the wood, being taken advatage of the rest of the world. No, he is far form the picture you paint of him, so far he is just what the media has made of him and they do not know anything for sure, the only thing we know about the man is what he wants us to know.  I am affraid when the whole truth comes out you will wonder why you have written what you have. Just for example he has written nothing while in Harvard, nothing that has ever been puiblished, that leads me to ask how did he get elected to the Law Review?
