I've been married for a year and a half now to an amazing guy I met on the net. We basically came across each other blogs and flickr accounts and started e-mailing.

So, no, it's not stupid at all, I'm a great proof of that!

Computers are the wave of the future.

It's definitely not stupid to like someone you talk to on the net. But it can definitely be dangerous to meet someone from the net, as is proof of the craigslist ad that was answered by a woman looking for a nanny job and was found dead in the trunk of her car. (You can read the article at http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,305758,00.html.)
