I work for an event production company and we are working on a project for which we need a large amount of recycled materials. in particular, junk mail. Does anyone know of where I can get my hands on a large quantity of this?

You might try putting up boxs with signs in apartment buildings where they have several mailboxes together.
The search for people who can answer your question continues for as long as needed - until you find the answer you were looking for.
