Dale76, Yes you can.  You can make up to 50 percent of your unemployment money.  More than 50 percent will be deducted from your benefit amount.  So if you collect 300 dollars from unemployment, you can make up to 150 dollars.  If you make 160 dollars, 10 dollars over your allowed amount, you will receive 290 dollars instead of the 300.  Good luck with the job hunt.

dale76,if i were u, id ask my ui agency about that. in some states if u get caught working a taxable job the fed. gov. can make u pay back everything they have given u for ur benefits. some states also have fed.pen time for that. i only know this because i have  had 2 husbands that have collected ui benefits. so the best thing for u to do is to check with your ui pffice. good luck and if u get a job make sure it is under the table or dont get caught.
