because we humans are a jealous species and we want to hurt anybody who is doing better than us..

let's say somebody is prettier than us,we can therefore say that she doesn't have a brain..finding a fault that will mar that beautiful image and so on..

I believe the answer has come to me, we speak negative things more than positive becuse we have become so condintioned to thinking the negative is more likely to occur than the positive. So by speaking the negative we are in defense mode as well as thinking we will most likely be right
