I have a friend who name the program he created "Bric-a-Brac".. What does this word really means?

From Webster's New Twentieth Century Dictionary: Bric-a-brac (noun); Small, rare or artistic objects of miscellaneous pattern and assortment, used for decorating and as shelf ornaments.

By the way, I've noticed you seem to have quite a few miscellaneous questions lately. You can certainly keep looking for answers on Yedda, but perhaps you should also consider investing in a set of reference books for students so you can learn to look some of these things up for yourself!
