Can i convert a wooden dining table with 2 detachable pedestal legs to an extendable one by removing the centre 1/3rd section and attaching a sliding mechanism? If so, how? Thank you

If you purchase the right kind of sliding mechanism it would simply be a mtter of attaching the mechanism to the underside of the table top as well as the pedestal bases. Installation accuracy is very important.
