Hi Debz,

I think that this website will be able to help you out with some herbal remedies. Hope that they work.

Try evening primrose oil capsules and also black cohosh capsules. Both were very effective for me.

Be sure to follow the directions and also to buy a high quality product from a reputable manufacturer and distributor. (I like the 'Radiance' brand.)

Furthermore, it is a good idea to check with your physician to make sure you will not experience any adverse effects due to an underlying medical condition or a conflict with any prescribed medications you may already be taking.

Good luck!

Natural health = good health naturally.

Black cohosh is a good choice for most people.  Some people experience headaches with it.  Reduce the dose if that happens.  I used a natural progesterone cream called Pro-G-Yam from Natures Sunshine Products (www.naturessunshine.com/jones6). Progesterone rids the body of negative estrogen that may cause breast cancer.  Helps with the hot flashes too!

First, do't trust websites, many are run by assholes that don't know what the hell they are talking about.

I used to read alot, but I am a guy and don't have that problem.  eve primrose black cohosh, and Chinese yams sound familiar for menopause.  Simply put, it can be thought of as estrogen withdrawal:  Hormone replacement (risk cancer) keeps you hooked, so I suggest Soy products (tofu) which contain plant estrogens that can help ease you off less painfully.  I also seem to remember some minerals, perhaps vitemins too, that help; but I cannot recall which ones.

Your greatest asset is knowledge.  My 2 favorite books for this are given below.

HERBS THAT HEAL BY MICHAEL WEINER

NUTRITIONALHEALING BY BALCH AND BALCH

The info in those 2 books is better than any damn bullshit pay-for-me website.
