Hi Stephanie,
Their is a couple of things you can try that I'm aware of. You can either try a dermatologist or your own physician.
I myself have suffered my whole life with acne, and over the years I have developed cystic acne as well. To look at my face, you really can't tell, but I can because I know where to look.
One thing you could try, is to see a dermatologist, he or she might want to put you on medication, per scribe a topical lotion, or maybe both. ( this I'm not sure of.)
Or you can see your regular physician or gynecologist. The latter is the one I've chose to do. My gynecologist put me on a prescription topical gel called Clindamycin. I find it works really well for me, It's less drying on my skin.
I hope this is kind of helpful for you, just remember to always follow up with a good facial moisturizer for your skin type.
