Is there any historic documentation on where and\or when had this custom started ?

5 thumbs up

Women first stared to be aware of their unwanted body hair around 3000 B.C. Then they wouldn't shave but they come out with a concoction that would burn it off. There main reason was to make sure there wouldn't be any lice or fleas. It was the Roman woman who first begun shaving around 400 B.C. she had done it with a razor or a pumice stone.
