go to web md , but sounds like fib tumor usually not cancerous , but could be effecting periods causing heavy bleeding also may be you are starting menopause, check with other women in your family to see if they had menopause early, didn't mention your age but some women have systems for up to 10 years before, also if your overweight can affect you periods. often dr, will put you on a cycle of birth control which for a time will control heavy periods, but you need to see a gyn, if no insurance look for a clinic because you will have to have test to see if you have the fib tumors
