Life's too short for excessive compromise... maximize everything!

2000 was a great year in Bordeaux. I have not had this bottle but have had other 2000's and some are drinking well now while others require more time (always the case!).   From what I heard, your bottle is good now... so cook up a nice peice of beef or lamb... grab a friend and indulge!

Hi dukey1,

All of your wines are drinkable now. The wines you have selected have been produced so that they may be drank upon release. The release dates on your wines were all towards the end of 2005 and 2006.

To take issue with the wine snob, he says "while others require more time (always the case!)." This is not true with all wines.

Many of the wines produced today do not age well and last for just a few years. I would recommend that you go to http://www.winespectator.com to learn more or purchase a copy of Wine for Dummies.

Both are excellent sources for the beginning wine drinker.

Have fun!
