41 thumbs up

There are so many recommended places around the world... I've gathered five places which I think are great , some of them are not necessarily known among  windsurfers:

1. Cabarete, Dominican Republic.

2. Jericocoara, Brazil.

3. Langebaan, South Africa.

4. Moon Beach, Sinai Peninsula, Egypt.

5. Salinas Bay, Costa Rica

I've sailed all over the world and I still think one of the best places is the south coast of the UK. You need to be between Selsey and Worthing for the best winds. Due to the downs being away from the coast the flat land and more often than not sunny weather produces some excellent sea breezes right through May June July and early August. For example this year already we have experienced a massive number of days of hig winds.
