Gibberish instead of Hebrew on Windows Vista Hebrew Version

I have a hebrew version of windows vista home premium. For some reason, I see gibberish instead of hebrew fonts in the media center, media player, itunes and several other programs (though not on windows explorer).

On an xp machine, I would normally install all hebrew encodings available, but it seems this option no longer exists on vista.

How can I solve this?

Hi,
Not exactly what you are looking for but at least it's a good solution for the Gibberish problem.  The following site translates any "Gibberish" to Hebrew: http://www.web-creation.net/stats/translator.html very useful, highly recommeded.
Best regards,

I searched a lot on the net to find a solution for that, and finally found it!

1. Go to 'Control Panel' then 'Regional and Language Options'

2. Go to 'Administrative' tab

3. 'Change system locale' -> change to 'Hebrew' -> Press OK

4. it will ask you to restart. do it.

:) enjoy.
