What does "no win no fee" mean?

What does "no win no fee" mean? If you win, can you be charged more than your compensation i.e. end up in negative figures?

Generally, when you win compensation for a personal injury, your fee's are recovered from the other side on top of your compensation. This means that you take home 100% of the compensation awarded.

 However, Im not totally sure but the following site might help:
