My husband located a bush type plant approx. 7 to 8 ft tall with clusters of berries, near a lake in an area that stays moist, the berries were about the size of green peas, does anyone know what this may be?  He first thought that they may be fox grapes but unsure.  I found info about moonseed grapes that they were poisonous and that native americans used them for different puroposes, this area was known to be campsites of native americans from the archiology studies in the area.  We are in Virginia, Pittsylvania County.
