my wife has her period, but she sats that she feels like she is ovulating also, is this possiable.

Any excuse not to study!

A woman has 2 ovaries and they both ovulate so it could be that she has her period and is ovulating from the other ovary.  Unusual but possible.

ovulation happens between periods, So if you bleed on day one, you should ovulate on day 14,

Usually women have ovulation during 13-16 days of menstrual cycle and period is coming at the end on 28-35 days.
