whale hunting - is it worth it ?

There is a new fight going around antarctica between environment bodies and Japanese whale hunters. how much does whale meat cost and is it really worth it ?

The price in Japan is 1950 Yen (approx. 16.5 USD per KG)

The wholesale price of minke whale red meat is set at a fixed price of 1950 Yen per kilogram.

Is it really worth it ?

Those fisherman who hunt the whales probably make their living form this , but the cruelty of the killing , and the scarce number of the whales should convince the authorities to ban this.

I think that whale hunting is not worth it because whale are incredible creatures and are great tourist attractions theses magnificent creatures were on the planet before us humans so why hunt them whales are no danger to us so they have as much right as we do from Jamie Powell aged 15 Northampton england
