Great information on health, diet, and exercise: www.mattmetzgar.com

If you want to permanently lose weight, you have to exercise.  There's no two ways about it.

I would not bother counting calories; instead I would concentrate on eating the right foods.  If you need some help in that area, check out: www.thepaleodiet.com

As for exercise, start with some walking and a bit of weight training and take it slow at first.

So have you tried the WW or other diets yet?  Hope you've had some success!  I wanted to update you on my progress.  As of a week & a half ago I've lost 54 lbs & 39" off my body.  I have to go get weighed tomorrow, I know I've lost more weight & am over 55 lbs lost.  I'm still doing the stuff I mentioned above, I do however slack off here & there.  It's ok to take a little break, but it's important to get back in there.  The complements & encouragement have really kept me going...oh and getting out of plus sized clothing is AWESOME!!! :)  It's funny, I can find clothes on the clearance rack that'll fit me & I forgot how smaller is actually cheaper than the plus sizes.  If I can lose weight, anybody can!!!!!

If you want to do it yourself.

1) Eat healthy, eat steam food, eat vegetables and fruits.  Avoid soda drinks, take aways and junk food

2) Drink plenty of water / green tea

3) have 5-6 healthy meals a day (1 plate only) to stop the cravings.

4) Exercise, look at combining interval and strength training.  You can consider Turbulence Training as one form of exercise.

In my day job I write about Blood Pressure Treatment and treat those who suffer from blood pressure problems. Low blood pressure is a particular interest and I'm often asked about how to lower cholesterol levels. A healthy heart is becoming a huge focus for many of us nowadays. Improving your blood pressure control and thus the health of your heart and circulation system is really important. My most recent online "adventure" is to start a facility for people to ask me my opinion and to provide high quality health information by answering medical questions online.

I also have a special interest in the problem of feeling Tired All the Time and in those who suffer from chronic fatigue or lethargy. This seems to tie in also to skin care issues or skin treatment problems and suggestions. Tiredness and fatigue can lead to major problems for many individuals in modern society and the way that this can affect all areas of general health can be quite invasive in terms of daily life and coping skills.

My work with footballers and athletes leads to a focus on Painful Shoulder conditions and on the problems associated with frozen shoulder or whiplash injuryRotator cuff injury causes problems for many of my patients.

When not working I daydream about my next amazing european vacation trip  My favorite European cities include Paris and Barcelona and my next blog project will be to write about the best way to spend a night in Paris and how to find an apartment in Barcelona. I just love European travel in all its forms.

Weight watchers is good - I recommend it often to my patients who come to me with blood pressure or other health problems

It's an easy to follow system and nearly always shows good results
