I've been exercising regularly for about two weeks ...

I've been exercising regularly for about two weeks, and cutting back on my portion sizes as well as not eating fast food or drinking sodas but I'm not losing any weight.

I don't understand why the weight isn't coming off?

annie, jose, and nicolehochberg-none of you should be giving advice to anyone.

hochberg-IT IS ABOUT EXERCISE...in addition to a healthy diet. whoever told you otherwise is not very smart. exercise boosts your metabloism...in case you don.t know what that means...it means that your body starts to burn more calories. it.s a really easy equation, calories in=calories out. if you consume more calories than you burn, YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT. not only is exercise helpful for your metablosim, it is beneficial for your cardiovascular health and your bone strength. i.m wondering what kind of education you have to be giving people advice about weight loss. do you have any?

jose-you do not need a weight enhancer to lose weight.

annie-are you kidding? no wonder you are gaining weight. you purposely put your body into starvation mode. that is the most ridiculous diet 'advice' i have ever heard. you are right about one thing...it does 'mess up your body'.

bjabbar-write back if you want some intelligent advice.

Always vary your workout and diet.  To get over the hurdle, just mix it up and even train outdoors!

All it takes is time...If you keep doing what you are doing, you will most def. lose weight.  Burning more calories than consuming = weight loss.
