I've been exercising regularly for about two weeks ...

I've been exercising regularly for about two weeks, and cutting back on my portion sizes as well as not eating fast food or drinking sodas but I'm not losing any weight.

I don't understand why the weight isn't coming off?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind....

Sometimes it takes a bit of time.  You might not notice right away, but you will start to lose weight.  I would look in a mirror, don't weigh yourself.  Scales are misleading because muscle has weight as well.  So, you're burning some fat each time you work out, and building some muscle... so your weight may not be changing that quickly, but your body is.  Keep going and don't give up.  You will notice a difference.

Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

Two weeks is not enough time to see significant results.

I would suggest first taking measurements (as sometimes you may not see the number on the scale go down but you will see that you're losing inches). I would also suggest increasing your workout times, by at least 30 minutes. It's important to make sure you're doing cardio as well as weigh-lifting.

It's also advisable to drink more water and increase your vegetable servings.

Honestly, its not about excercising. Excercising is good for you heart. I always had to watch what I ate, and I still was never then or remotely thin! I just had a baby 4 months ago. I gained 60lbs during the pregnancy. I lost all of it!

Here is me pregnant.... and I got BIGGER...I don't have pictures because I refused to take them....

Weight loss takes time, you should be aiming for a slow, steady amount of weight loss - just a couple of pounds a week rather than a massive amount - don't be disheartened though, if you go for slow steady weight loss you're more likely to keep it off.

Don't  forget that exercise builds muscle, which is heavier than fat - so you may find at first that your measurements shrink as the fat falls off, but your weight stays the same.

Energized Living!

Two weeks is not a lot of time. Think of permanent differences over time, such as 2 months. Try other ways of monitoring progress, such as inches lost. There is a product that is helping people lose inches called Bioslife Slim.
