Have recently started a good, healthy diet to lose ...

have recently started a good, healthy diet to lose weight. I am 5'2 and I weigh 325 pounds. I started dieting about two months ago, and I use a regular excercise program that includes running up and down the stairs in my apartment building. I weighed myself yesterday and I have found that I have lost over 25 pounds since I started this diet two weeks ago. While this is great news, I can't help thinking that maybe I am losing weight too fast and also, should I change my excercise program to include a different variety of excercise, or should I stick with the one that I am on now? Also, I do 15-20 minutes of warm-ups and cool downs. Is this also alright to do? Thank you.

Congratulations! I think your diet is doing good for you.. to think that you have lost that pounds?  that's not a joke ^_^;  What you are doing is just fine and I think there is no need to change your routine, if you think it was not enough you can try yoga or taeboo.

438 thumbs up

Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

Congrats on your weight loss up until now. While I think 25 pounds is a lot in two weeks, if you are working out and eating healthy, the weight will come off. Some weeks the weight will come off faster than other weeks, but it will come off. So try not to think too much about how fast or slow the weight is coming off and just continue exercising and eating healthy.

Energized Living!

When you have a lot of weight to lose, it is not uncommon to lose 2-4 pounds a week. Eventually, it will slow down to 1-2 pounds a week- which is a good rate to sustain for weight loss.
