How much weight do I gain with taking Lyrica

I started taking lyrica about 1 year ago and I have gained  15 or more lbs.  I could see a change about 7 or 8 months after I started taking it.  I started gain weight after that time and still gaining.  When will the weight gain stop?

Hi, there is no way to know when that side effect of weight gain may stop. Other than knowing that if you are taken off of the Lyrica at some point, you will. This whole line of meds for pain, like Fibra Myalgia pain and other neurological pain symptoms, unfortunately one of the side effects is weight gain. I speak from experience on this, since I too started to gain weight and continue to do so, as I am also on a med for nerve pain. It is a disturbing side effect, especially for myself as a woman. Good luck and I wish I had better news to give you (and me both). Hang in there..... my best to you.
