Well it's quite simple you get your intitial unemployment that falls back on your previous unemployer, if you have not exhausted your unemployment you are eligible for an additionsl 7 weeks of emergency unemployment and the Presidents new spending bill gives each person $25.00 a week in Texas. Your best bet is to get a part time job which will raise the maximum amount awarded to you plus an additionsl 25% so if you got $378 a week you would then get $472+ 25 dollars for the stimulus package. It only lasts 7 weeks or until your money alloted runs out. Thats the law in Texas other states may vary.
