When my husband and i were married only the women got wedding favors. And that was 52years ago

Proper etiquette for wedding favor is that it's one favor per person, to the bride and groom as a couple.

I.E. If you invite a married friend, and him and his wife came, each should bring a favor.

No wedding day in Vancouver without Vancouver Wedding Photography .

Well the proper etiquette for wedding favor is that one person gets one favor to the bride and groom as a couple. Even if couples are invited they should get favors individually for the wedding couple.
