Hello.
I want to make my very own website I don't want it to be a hosted site like myspace or bebo. What steps would I have to take to get my own site?

There are a number of hosts that let you upload your own, unique site that you've made. Here's a list: geocities.com, t35.com, & tripod.com. Also, here's a page that list a whole slew of hosts: http://www.absolutely-free-hosting.com/free_hosts_01.php.
