Yedda is custom built, but a few days ago I heard about a contest that for the best open source community software. The finalists are Drupal , e107, Joomla!, Plone and Xoops. I think the results will be declared in a few weeks. I suggest you take a look at the finalists and decide which one suits your needs best.
There may be others too, of course.
