What are good ways to improve memory?

Besides repetition

and experience, what are good ways to sharpen ones memory significantly? If I have a poor memory, is there any operation I can go through or a special class I can take?H

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

Nope, there is no such operation (Would you risk a brain surgery for that ?) and I don't think you'll find classes for that as well.  You are right, it is boaring to try and remember list of items....  That's the bad news, now let's move to the good news: Play Bridge.  The game is very: entertaining enjoyable, good fun, place to meet nice peole, challenging and above all impproves the memory (you have to remember all the cards, and what each player showed and bid).  Good Bridge players remeber every card played during the entire evening with their sequence as well ! (I do it easily).  Our brain is like a muscle "Use it or loose it !".
Best regards,

Memory can be improved by exercise, and training your brain to remember things can actually make a difference. There are several sites that are free and can help you, and I am sure if you're willing to pay there are many places that would be happy to take your money...

It takes a lot of work though. It doesn't come easy.

Well there is no thing as a "poor" memory or a "bad " memory it does not exist. memory is i am pleased to tell you a muscle, and like many muscles needs good excercise.

have you heard older people say if they do not use it they loose it. Well due to presures of life we use our memory in different ways to which they were formed to act.

I went to Mental Combat in uk and they did a one day course it was brill

they miight give you some freebies as they were really nice people

hope this helps
