Is there a way to recycle our old Mac equipment?

We recently bought an iMac.  We have an old Power Mac 6500/250 with Operating System 8--we also have the old monitor and keyboard.  We live Las Vegas, NV, and would like to know if there is somewhere here that we could donate this system.  Or some other way that we could recycle it.
