Is there any other way she can learn how to run a business?

My sister-in-law would like to learn how to start and run a business. My brother has had an accident and cannot earn right now. They have a small child and my sister-in-law cannot leave the house as she has so many responsibilities. Is there any other way she can learn how to run a business?

There are 2 ways that come to mind.  Contact your closest Chamber of Commerce and find out what free services they have to help someone start a business.  They can guide you to define what you want to do and develop a business plane ie goals and objectives along with what finances will be needed.

A second option that almost all communities have access to is SBD - Small Business Development units that will sit with you and provide excellent business advice as how to get started

yes she can and very easily too if she has the sense for business and she is willing to work hard to achieve her goals.. go to http://www.howtostartabusiness.ws and check out the content there.. there are articles relating to every business even the home based ones and ample information how to get a business started, how to finance it, how to advertise it and how to choose a business keeping in mind your qualifications and education.. check the site out.. she will find something that she can do.

Opening a business DOES require a lot of work, in fact, it requires a lot more work than working for someone.  BUT, the reward can be very much worth it.  Besides the monetary reward there is also the emotional reward and satisfaction knowing you're your own boss (except for clients).
First thing to consider when you open a business is to decide WHAT TYPE of business you want to open?  Preferably you should open something you know something about, although this isn't required.
Second thing is to determine if there is a need for this item/product/service.
This should take care of the next 6-12 months.  Do a LOT of research and be realistic on your ability and your chance of success.
She can also take MBA in a Day programs to learn Business Concepts.  There are also many MBA Digest books on Amazon that can be a tremendous help.
Good luck!

Gabriel, I have to tell you- you are a nice person. Not everyone these days want to help their family. Way to go!

Anyways, good news for your sister-in-law!!!!!!!!!! YES, there is a way for her to stay home with her child and still make up to 5 figure a month. We have people on my team who are making $2,000-$2,000 per MONTH working part time. NO joke.

Have her take a look at www.YourDreamFuture.com

God bless!

Hi there! I own my own business which I run from my home. I work with a team of moms who provide me with free support, mentoring and training. There is a very low start up cost and it is risk free. We are teamed up with an international wellness company that has received many awards from the Better Business Bureau. It was been wonderful for our family as my husband has been laid off and has not been able to find a job. If you like you can pass on this website to her, www.athomepeaceofmind.com and she can visit it to request more information.
