What is the best way to handle myself at an interview.  My minds goes blank when asked such simple questions as, What are you best qualities? What makes a good team player?  The jobs that I am applying for I know I am more than capable of doing. However my inability to answer is blowing my chances of securing a post. Help!!!!!

It seems like you're a bit too intense over the interview. You should learn to relax and lighten-up. My advice is the opposite of using prepared answers. I reckon you should go do something you like just before the interview, catch a movie or whatever. I'm sure you'll do good over your next interview. Good luck.

Find a friend who wouldn't be too embarassed to role play with you, and play out interviews till you feel extremely comfortable with the type of questions you described.

and good luck...

Make up a set of probable questions you will expect to answer. Develop good and intelligent answers. Give them to a friend to review them with you. This part should be videoed so that you could see yourself and your reactions. These two steps should prepare you adequately for any interview. GOOD LUCK!!

Just make sure you practise before you go on a interview and make sure your parpared to do the interview and do your best! Good Luck and enjoy yourself or pretend that your doing your interview eigther by yourself or get your parents, sisters,Brothers,Gran,Grandad,Uncle,Auntie,Friends whoever and show your interview infront of them and pretend they are the people that your going it to and let them make comments about it E.G how

well you did or how bad you did it or how you could you
