My husband had an orchidopexy surgery on his left testicle when he was 4 & again when he was 5 (vas def was not long enough the first time), now he has a "0" count, after research he had a biopsy they found 4 "round" sperm. We where referred to Dr. Schlegal at Cornell in NY, where my husband had a microdissection where they did find sperm (I don't know how many, but at least 10), still with deformities but had partial tails. They fertilized 10 eggs the next day using ICIS. None of which took, so my question is what can we do to make his sperm quality better? He does have a high FSH level of 17.5 and relatively low testosterone of 302. My thoughts which I could be wrong, is the maybe his "swimmies" don’t have enough DNA, is there a way to increase DNA? There was no mobility due to them not having tails. Is there a way to make them be super sperm? We would consider doing the microdissection again if there's nope (since they dont' come out to play), . It cost way too much money to spend if not, considering insurance does not cover any of both our procedures. HELP!!
After they just found in sperm? YAWN!
Too much? Whatever...
