when your taking a shower and you turn on the washing machine how come the water lowers down? Is it because of the size of the boiler?

If nothing works, do nothing.

No, this has to do with amount of water pressure your system has. For example, when installing a sprinkler system with multiple sprinkler heads, the first thing you do is get the PSI reading (Pounds per sq inch), the reason is that- if you attach too many sprinklers to run at once you may only get small drizzle at each head.

When you have water running to one outlet and you divert part of that water to another, it only makes sense that you will not have the full amount going to both.
