I believe Snarski looked at 2000 ft......  not 2000 meters.....  The boiling point of water at 2000 meter altitude is 93.5 centigrades (Celcius) and will drop as one climbs to higher altitudes....  (the boiling point drops as the altitude increases).  See at the table

At 2001 metres, the boiling point of water is; 98.077°C / 208.538°F, that is if the local barometric pressure would be 29.92  Millibars. The boiling point of water changes as the barometric pressure changes.
