Normally with well water one must maintain their water purifier with salt and who knows what else ... depending on the hardness of your well water. Normally, well water is quite hard and will leave rust stains/discoloration in toilets, dishwashers, on clothes, dishes, etc, even when purified.
City water is much less work.
