Another solution that also works well for watching some of the tv channels that you can view on the internet, if you have a laptop is to plug it into your tv via a svideo cable.

Most laptops have a svideo socket, and most tvs have one too these days.The resolution is not high def but it's not too bad.

Even better if your laptop and tv have an HDMI socket, get yourself a HDMI cable and voila!

Just another solution.
