Hello!

At http://infertility.about.com/cs/clomi1/a/Clomid.htm

you will learn that using clomid you get a 5% of getting twins.

As a father to twins , I can tell you that the first year is very difficult , and you will be very tired....

I wish you all the best.

Twin pregnancies carry numerous risks, including pre-term deliveries with its complications, gestational diabetes, pregnancy induced hypertension and more…if it happens – excellent, but I would not ever recommend promoting it!

As a mom of twins, I tell people that there's a reason why most children are born one-at-a-time :-)

Taking a medication that has risks of its own, just to increase your chances of having twins doesn't sound so reasonable to me.

Dont worry- I am sure you understand the risks of twins and a basic understanding of the tiredness you will endure- but honestly if you have them I am sure you will rise to the occasion. Its kind of interesting to hear parents who have twins go from saying how they wouldn't promote it to saying how its still rewarding. You know that and honestly I hope you accomplish the specialty of having twins.

Clomid isn't a drug to be taken lightly.  It isn't something you go on just because you want twins.  How ridiculous.  It's a potent drug and shouldn't be misused just because you want multiples.  If you're having fertility issues, and are under the care of a fertility clinic/doctor/RE/OB, fine.  If you have no fertility issues and can get pregnant on your own, do not put something into your body that isn't necessary.

Hello, I am in the same boat as you. I just came across this link and was wondering if clomid helped you to get preg with twins? If so, when did you take it and did you take anything else with it?

Thanks for your help
