I want some stylish boots for fall, preferably brown or cognac colored. A kind you could dress up or down. I want them to be comfortable! I bought some and had to return them because they weren't comfortable. Any suggestions of a good style/brand??

Personally I prefer the boots in your third shortcut
I know its your choice but I have never liked suede type boots, Boots without a heel of sorts tend to remind me of boots worn by the horse riding fraternity
I couldnt recommend where to buy them from because I dont know where you live and I think in the end boots tend to be part of how you feel or as part of your image which is personal to you
