I want to sleep well what should I do?

Lately I haven't been able to get a good night sleep , in the beginning I thought it is related to some kind of stress I am in but there is nothing wrong with my personal life. If I do fall asleep I am a "light sleeper" I seem to wake up from every tiny noise I hear during the night. I don't want to take sleeping peels or anything like that, I already tried drinking some herbs I've been told will do me well and it doesnt seem to work. Help!?

I was late for work this morning, because I got stuck in Zeno's paradox.

There could be a few reasons for insomnia:

1. Maybe you should try doing some more exercise, to tire yourself out. If you don't want to go to a gym, try jogging or even walking in the evening before you go to sleep.

2. Insomnia is often a sign that something is bothering you. It is not necessarily stress-related, maybe a  personal problem, or a problem at work. Maybe even something small like a change in background noises in your neighborhood.

3. Maybe you have changed your daily routine, to include something that disturbs you. It might be something like an extra cup of coffee in the evening before going to  bed, or maybe something you have started eating.

If you don't want to try sleeping pills, and herbs like chamomile or valerian haven't helped, perhaps you should consider other alternatives. Some people claim that soothing background noise helps them sleep. There are machines that produce a soothing background noise (sort of "white noise") that many people claim help them to sleep. Another solution is to try sleeping with earplugs, that will block out noises that might wake you up

don't sleep with lights on, take a warm bath before sleeping, try EFT, drink milk, relax yourself and don’t think of anything that will distract you. You can also try supplements that will help you sleep. Here’s a great article you may read to have a good sleep.
