~ The Heart is the hub of all sacred places, go there and roam ~

A:

Seriouisly... I was driving down the road just the other day... and there was a lovely buff colored chicken... just standing there (east side).. pecking away at the side of the road.  I'm going to assume he did not bother to cross the road because there was house, nothing but trees on the other side.    I didn't stop to watch if he did cross the road because I had some errands to complete... but there seemed to be no interest on the part of said chicken to cross that road.    I conclude that we were watching different chickens NJoy  ; )   ~ Peace, Faith

Faith, if you saw a buff colored chicken and you referred to it as a he then I'm quite sure the chicken was insulted.  If what you saw was a Rooster, then rightfully he could be called a he because while he is in the poultry catagory, he is not a chicken, but a cock.  And a proud one to boot.  Even if he is a Capon, he's not really a chicken. He's sorta well...both...now there are Hens also.  Did you see a Hen or a Rooster? ;))
